  18. Software metrics are widely seen as a technology that can improve
  19. understanding, visibility and control of software projects.  This
  20. workshop focuses upon two questions: how do we measure object oriented
  21. systems and how do we successfully manage the introduction of metrics
  22. into software development organisations?  The Workshop is intended to
  23. be the premier UK metrics event for 1996 and is aimed at practitioners
  24. and researchers alike.

  27. opportunities for questions and discussion.
